My house has always been the one where all the kids in the neighborhood loved to come and play. That's because my house has always been filled with lots of crafty tools and supplies... not to mention a pizza or two!  My daughter and I did a lot of crafting when she was younger, and as you can see; we are still best of friends!

I have often had requests for help with crafty ideas for kids, so I've put together this site to share some of my favorite ideas with you.

If you need some crafty ideas to share with your kids, stop by often to see what's new. I spend a lot of time in my studio, so I always have a lot of new projects to share. I'm a confessed craft-a-holic, and I love to share my passion for designing. Thanks for visiting... now, let's go do some crafting!

Welcome To Bible School!

Creating object lessons for Bible stories is one of my favorite past times. Setting a creative, colorful and inviting environment is an essential tool to capture the imaginations of the children in your class. Not to mention the need to capture their attention!

Crafting is a great way to capture the attention of your class, and their enthusiastic participation in your discussions will fuel your passion for teaching! Simple, inexpensive items help create unique decorative items for your Sunday School Classrooms.

I taught Sunday School and Children's Church when my daughter was younger, and I have about a gazillion ideas to share with you! But, just like preparing your Bible lessons, it takes time to convert those ideas into the digital products that make it simple for me to share them with you.

With that in mind, I invite you to visit often so you can keep up with my ever growing structure here at Connie's Crafts 4 Kids! Just like my studio, it's never the same place twice. I appreciate the fact that you've stopped by to browse around, and always welcome your comments or feedback:

Crafting Is Fun!

When your kids have grown and are ready to soar off into a life of their own, the memories you want them to hold dear are the happy ones.

My name is Connie, and I'm a mom just like you... except for the fact that my daughter is now an adult daughter! We spent a lot of time crafting together when she was younger, and I just can't seem to get enough of creating crafty projects for kids.

I love to share my favorite craft projects, as well as memories of the times Heather and I spent cooking, making teddy bear cookies and sewing Barbie clothes. Her childhood recall is amazing, and it thrills my heart to know that many of her memories are those of our times working on our crafty endeavors.
There's no greater joy than to discover that your child believes that home is the best place to be!

Crafting is a great way to help create the warm, cozy environment we call home. I wanted to find a way to continue to share my ideas with young moms, so I've turned my home studio into an interactive learning center.

Visit often to find ideas for crafting, recipes, and projects designed to help you enjoy spending time with your kids. You'll create lasting memories while you're at itDon't worry if you happen to be new to crafting. I write my instructions for rookies, and I also tell you where you can find the supplies you will need for each project.

 READY, SET, TEACH!

Part of being a great mom is teaching your kids about the wonders of the world we live in. Education is an important part of that task, so it's important to use creative ways to engage your kids in the learning process.

“Every adult needs a child to teach, it's the way adults learn.”  Frank A. Clark

We live in such a visual world, that it's sometimes difficult to grab their attention when it comes to school work... Well, that's not the case anymore!

I've been a spelling bee champ since way back, and I love anything that has to do with words. I stumbled upon the Visual Thesaurus some time back, and have been using it ever since.

It's fun for kids of all ages! Just enter a word, and the thesaurus will explode like an atom with all of the words that relate to your query. The fun can go on for hours... you will love it when your kids want you to get off the computer so they can spend some time in the visual thesaurus!

Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it as much as I do!

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." II Timothy 2:15

Meet Clara... Did You Know? Clara Is Her Nickname For Clarity!

Clara is made from a pair of sweat pants I was given while I was living in a homeless shelter. I know what it's like to have endured some of the darkest issues of life, so that's why I enjoy my artwork so much!

It's my desire to share my love for creativity with children who are still trapped in the dark emotions that are hidden in a wounded heart. I'm he… Continue

There's a High Priest at Connie's House!

Here's a sneak peek at a craft that will provide great visual interest for your lessons about the High Priests, and their duties in the tabernacle. I need to tweak the pattern, but will let you know when it's finished.
